2025 NAOSS CONVENTION: Aremo Omo Adeosun Declares To Run For National PRO

Ahead of National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) National Body election Comrade Joshua Adeosun popularly known as (Aremo Omo Adeosun) has declared his intention to run for the National Public Relation Officer of the youth body.

Comrade  Joshua  Adeosun stated this in an interview with our correspondence yesterday in Abeokuta.

Comrd Joshua Adeosun popularly known as (Aremo Omo Adeosun) wrote his declaration letter. 

Said,With deep honour and sincere humility I , Comr. Adeosun Joshua Mayowa hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of Public Relations Officer (P.R.O 1) in the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) National Body. 

I am a passionate and committed indigene of Ogun State, the Gateway State and one of the fastest-growing economies in Nigeria. My love for Ogun State, its students, and our collective progress has always driven my desire to serve and contribute meaningfully to the student community.

This declaration is not just a personal ambition; it is a call to duty. I believe that the office of the Public Relations Officer is not just about publicity , it is about building trust, maintaining strong communication, and representing the voice of the students with dignity and truth. 

My Respected NAOSSites, Throughout my years in school and service, I have learned the importance of communication, image management, and relationship building. As someone who has held leadership roles in the past, I understand what it means to carry the weight of responsibility and still stay connected to the people.

As a student leader and active participant in student unionism, I have served in several capacities, including media and publicity roles, and I have always delivered results with integrity. I have organized campaigns, managed student communications, designed awareness programs, and created platforms for students to speak and be heard.

With the current global reality, we cannot underestimate the power of effective communication in promoting unity, transparency, and growth. If elected as your Public Relations Officer, I will ensure that NAOSS maintains a professional and active presence across all media channels, both online and offline.

I will also:

1. Strengthen communication between NAOSS leadership and all its members across campuses.

2. Ensure timely and transparent updates on programs, policies, and student matters.

3. Promote the image of Ogun State students across Nigeria through effective media engagement.

4. Build strong media teams and content creators from among our students for better coverage of NAOSS activities.

5. Collaborate with other executive members to ensure every Ogun student is carried along, seen, and heard.

My vision is simple to give NAOSS a louder, clearer, and more respected voice. 

I am not promising what I cannot do, but I am offering what I have done before and what I will do again with more experience, better tools, and a heart full of commitment.

Dear NAOSSites, this is our time. Let us choose a voice that truly speaks for us. Let us support someone who understands the struggle, who has walked the journey, and who is ready to represent us with truth, boldness, and respect.

I, Omo Adeosun, stand before you not as someone seeking power, but as a servant ready to work. I ask for your support, your prayers, and your vote as I take this bold step to serve.

Together, we can build a more united, informed, and progressive NAOSS.
