Ogun Concerned Citizens And Youth has call for peace and calmness over will become the next governor of Ogun State in 2027.
The leader of Ogun Concerned Citizens And Youth Comrade Ola Muritala stated this in a statement signed today Thursday 11th of September, 2025.
He explained “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” - Matthew 6:34
While appeal to everyone, especially those active on facebook and other social platforms, to put an end to the heated arguments about who becomes the next Governor of Ogun State in 2027. The time for politics will surely come, but for now, our collective duty is to support the good works of His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun. Tomorrow belongs to God, and in due course, it will reveal itself.
"Permit me to share a short story. There was an elderly man who often stopped by my house, and our conversations were usually about what would happen “next year, 2026.” Sadly, he passed away last month and has since been laid to rest. Did 2026 vanish because he is no more? Certainly not. May God grant his soul eternal rest. This is not to wish anyone ill, but simply a reminder that tomorrow is never guaranteed, and life is too precious to waste on needless quarrels".
"What matters most is how we continue to pray for and support our Governor. From infrastructure to education, health, and other vital sectors, Omoba has delivered legacy projects that no administration before him has matched. These achievements deserve our attention and encouragement, not distractions".
As we look ahead, I humbly call for peace, calmness, and unity. The year 2027 will speak for itself when the time comes. Politics should never tear us apart, because after the dust of politics settles, we remain brothers, sisters, and neighbors sharing the same destiny.
Let us therefore focus on the present, celebrate the progress before us, and entrust the future into God’s capable hands.
