    The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has awarded 3 points against Libya National Team for following an incident involving the Nigerian Super Eagles, who were detained at Al Abraq Airport ahead of their AFCON 2025 qualifying match.

    According to the Confederation, the Libya Football Federation breached Article 31 of the African Cup of Nations Regulations as well as Articles 82 and 151 of the CAF Disciplinary Code.

    The Federation also awarded 3 goal against the Libya team.
