Representatives of Orile Kemta, Dabonyin Village Paid a Courtesy Call to Folasade Adeyemo

There was outright joy and excitement in the air yesterday 5th of March, 2024 at Odeda Local Government premises as the people of ORILE DABOYIN VILLAGE came en mass to express their heartfelt gratitude to their daughter and the Executive Chairman of Odeda LG; Hon. Folasade Adeyemo Olowolagba, Ph.D.

Orile Daboyin is one of the villages in Odeda Ward 1 of the  Local Government where the chairman Hon. Folasade Adeyemo's grandfather hailed from.
 "Pa Olowolagba" of Olowolagba compound was supposed to become the fourth Baale of the village before he passed away.

In his address, One of the Chairman’s brothers Pastor Daniel Olowolagba on behalf of the villagers expressed his gratitude to the Almighty for giving them a daughter like Folasade he also appreciated the Chairman for extending the fulfillment of her "Gbayi mantras" to them at Orile Daboyin.

He mentioned but a few "distributions of food items to both old and young, cash supports to indigent villagers, education support for children, solar lights, and the just concluded  Bolehole project; which is the most satisfying of them all". 

 He made it known that the village had been deprived of these things for decades he therefore seized the occasion to pray for the Chairman and asked God for more guidance in all her endeavors.

In her remarks,  “the Chairman Hon. Folasade Adeyemo Ph.D, thanked the Almighty, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON. The leaders and entire people of Odeda Local Government for giving her the platform to serve her people. She also appreciated the people of Orile Kemta Daboyin, for standing by her through the thin and thick period of her journey.

She said " In conclusion, I would like to establish the fact that as the dividend of democracy is being enjoyed in Orile Daboyin today, it is the same way across the wards in Odeda Local Government and assured the people to expect more of such developmental projects.

On that note, she donated some food items, cash, and a generating set to Dabonyin Village to enable them to power their borehole for regular water supply to the entire village. 

Finally, the people returned the good gesture by presenting the Chairman with a picture frame as well as a few farm produce.
