The Promoter of IBD International Hotel along Abiola Way, Abeokuta Ogun State Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohu (pictured above), in a shocking turn of events, has been the target of false accusations and misinformation regarding his alleged involvement in illegal activities and political aspirations.
Recent claimed was surfaced accusing Ibrahim of smuggling rice and guns, as well as of planning to contest for a governorship position. However, those close to Ibrahim have come to his defense, stating that these accusations are baseless and without any merit.
This information was made available to our reporter recently by a public statement made and signed by Lara Dende, Managing Director, IBD Hotels, in Abeokuta.
Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun was described as a respected and law-abiding citizen who's dedicated his life to building a successful and legitimate business empire.
He operates with a custom license, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements in the import and export industry. Additionally, Ibrahim is involved in car clearing and logistics operations that contribute to the growth of local industries and job opportunities in Nigeria, particularly, Ogun State
Lara Dende, also, reiterated that Ibrahim Egungbohun was known for his contributions outside of his businesses as well, adding that he is a distinguished hotelier, a successful farmer overseeing a palm oil production farm, and the founder of a football club that has nurtured talented athletes in the Yewa end of Ogun State.
Despite the false accusations against him, according to the public the MD, IBD Hotels, Egungbohun has never expressed any interest in pursuing a governorship position. His focus has always been on his businesses, community engagement, and philanthropic endeavours that have positively impacted the lives of many.
Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun has also established the IBDFoundation, a charitable organisation that aims to uplift the less privileged, provide educational scholarships, and promote healthcare access in underserved areas.
