Ogun West Senator- Solomon Adeola Yayi has donated a sum of ten million naira towards electrification project in Ilara-Yewa.
Sen. Yayi gave this money to support the town in powering electric transformer that will ultimately boost power supply in the town.
It was reported that on the 9th of September 2023 that the people of Ilara-Yewa complained of marginalisation in project allocation by the senator- a report in which the senator responded through his aide Mr. Kayode Odunaro that he had plans for the Ilara people.
It was recalled that the senator during his campaign leading to his victory at the 2023 elections, has promised a sum of ten million naira support to the people of Ilara, a promise he has fulfilled on the 9th of January 2024.
The people of Ilara through the President of Itesiwaju Ilara- a socio-development forum for Indigenous people of Ilara – Very Rev. Joseph Bankole thanked the distinguished senator for his generousity, promising that Ilara will make a judicious use of his donation to better the lots of the town.
He added that Ilara is in full support of the activities of the senator, while reminding him of the Ilara-Ijoun road calling for attention.
