Ogun So-Safe nabs illicit drug dealers, recover 22 bags, 4 motorcycles exhibits

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed So-Safe Corps, has apprehended suspected illicit drug dealers and  recovered sacks of Marijuana in Ogun. 

This is contained in a press release issued Commander Moruf Yusuf Director of Information and Public Relationof the corps.

According to the state Commander State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo said that at about 0230hrs on 11th. December, 2023, the Oke Ogun Area Command officers of the Corps while on routine patrol at Abule Sikiru along Igbo-Ora road in Abeokuta North Local Government Area, spotted 4 Bajaj motorbikes with 3 of the motorbikes carrying 22 sacks of Marijuana and two other people on the 4th Motorbike leading the team and fully armed with varieties of local charms. 

Ganzallo noted that 3 suspects allegedly escaped while 2 apprehended together with the exhibits and the four motorbikes used to perpetrate the crime. He also said that as at the time of filing this report, the 2 apprehended culprits refused to disclose their identity. 

Two of the motorbikes are marked ABG 041 DY and MEK 071 QC while the rest 2 are not registered he said. 

The 2 apprehended suspects, exhibit (22 sacks of Marijuana) and  4 motorbikes were handed over to the NDLEA, State Headquarter Team at Alamutu in Abeokuta North Local Government Area for further investigation and likely prosecution.
