The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Hon. (Engr.) Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan and Ogun Waterside State Constituency candidate, Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun continue to receive momentum endorsement in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area, as concerned residents of Ayede, Ayila and Makun-Omi Communities and its surrounding towns and villages have thrown their weight behind the APC candidates.
The residents made the pledge at Ayede, Ayila, Itebu Manuwa, Ayetumara and Makun-Omi communities at a meeting coordinated by the APC leaders in the wards and Hon. Adegbesan's Campaign Committee Coordinator for Ogun Waterside, Alh. Folorunsho (Alhaji Agba)
His Royal Highness, Ọba Frederick Adetutu, the Etodo of Itebu Manuwa in his speech, affirmed that Hon. Adegbesan and Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun have the required experience and capacity to present bills that will attract developmental projects in Ayede, Ayila and Makun-Omi wards, Ogun Waterside Local Government and Ogun State at large, if elected come 25th of this month. He pledged the readiness of the communities to vote in their numbers for all candidates of the APC at the polls, including mobilising friends, youths, women, non-indigenes and in-laws who are registered voters in Ayede/Ayila and Wards, to vote for , Hon. Akeem Balogun, Hon. Adegbesan, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Prince Dapo Abiodun and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We’ve seen what the incumbent House of Rep has done, he was so biased in the way he shared the dividends of democracy to us in Ogun Waterside when you compared it with other local government in this Federal Constituency, today, we as concerned residents of Ayede/Ayila /Itebu Manuwa and Makun-Omi communities declares our total support for Hon. Adegbesan, our Governor and former Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and state assembly candidate.
Also speaking at the meeting the APC Ward Chairmen for Ayede/Ayila and Makun-Omi described all the APC candidates as exceptionally qualified to represent them at Oke Mosan, National Assembly, State Constituency and Nigeria as a whole.
The Executive Secretary Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon. Oladipupo Ikuenomore in his remarks assured the youths, women and non-indigene in the communities that Hon. Adegbesan and Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun will use the influence of the office at the Green Chamber and Okemosan respectively to address the acute and perennial problems facing the wards and the constituency at large and will also bring new ideas that will transform Ogun Waterside and Ogun State at large.
Hon. Adegbesan applauded the leaders, Women, men, youths and non-indigene of the communities for the endorsement and support given to all APC candidates, stressing that it came at the right time.
Hon. (Engr.) Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan, a two-term lawmaker in Ogun State House of Assembly between 2007-2015, affirmed that he is in the race to present necessary bills at the Green Chamber, to lighten the burdens of his constituents by ensuring equitable distribution of dividends of democracy among the three local government areas, such that it will transform the constituents to prosperity.
