The leading Presidential aspirants and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that he made Osinbajo the vice president in 2015 and it's time for him to become Nigeria president after a lot of sacrifices.
The presidential hopeful, Tinubu said this on Thursday, while addressing delegates and members of All Progressive Congress APC at the presidential lodge in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The former Lagos State governor was received by the state governor, Dapo Abiodun and other members of the state executive council .
Tinubu shared his political prowess with the party members, stressing that ‘I have five governors in South west ‘.
He noted that his political strength should be considered by delegates in their choice during the forthcoming APC primary election.
Tinubu said it was his will to make peace at the party in 2015 when the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari came to him for the VP position.
The APC chieftain said the reason for forgoing his position then was to make way for a Muslim/Christian ticket in 2015.
“I forgo my VP right to Yemi Osinbajo in 2015”, Tinubu said succinctly as delegates praised him in an uproar.
According to Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun he appreciated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for speaking our local dialect for proper understanding.
