The major pillar of Democracy, anywhere in the world, is the LEGISLATURE
It is an arm of government that requires Legislative experience towards making appropriate laws and formulating people-oriented resolutions and policies.
The Legislature is an independent arm that cannot be toyed with.
In recent times, Ifo Constituency One has been in the News for making significant impacts at the helms of affairs of our state, especially by paddling the ship of the Legislative arm of government unblemished.
The reason is not far-fetched. The Pilot in charge is a Master of Legislative business. He is a Legislative juggernaut.
No wonder, the Assembly could pass over 45 impactful Bills into law and about 30 resolutions in less than 3 years.
Kudos to the man who God used to take the name of Ifo to a higher height ; Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo, Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly
The man who, ab initio, presided over a Rainbow Assembly of four different political parties unhindered and eventually succeeded in making all members return to the ruling party, thereby making the House operate a one party affair towards peace and growth of the Gateway State, which had always been his ultimate goal.
It takes experience and wisdom to attain this feat.
Missing the opportunity of returning him to the state Assembly in the next election is tantamount to backwardness for the Constituency. God forbid!
Rt Hon Oluomo is experienced, outspoken, courageous, accessible and down to earth.
What others lack in their representatives is what IFO Constituency One has, in OLUOMO.
WHEN OLUOMO SPEAKS, PEOPLE'S VOICE IS HEARD.
It's time for CONSOLIDATION.
