It is lack of tolerance exhibited as in the picture that is the bane of human existence.
The Golden Rule is "Do unto others as you would like them do unto you". This has covered almost everything about human relationships.
And everybody would have been happy by practising it. The happiness being sought in uncontrolled sex, doing bottles, unhinged gossip, modern day materialism, etc would have been there for the taking.
The 'elixir' of life is actually in helping others to attain their potential, not in controlling their lives.
It is this that requires no escapism in whatever form! Shalom.
