Traditional rulers in Odeda Local Government  area of Ogun State have charged traditional and Honourary-Chiefs in Orile-Itesi to begin to think about the development of Orile-Itesi and its Environs.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeniyi Oluwagbemiga Oluyinka Emulu (Oroki 1), the Olu of Orile-Itesi, in Odeda Local Government area of Ogun Stated  during an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta, that it's very imperative for him to look for the sons and daughters of his kingdom. Orile-Itesi needs to be transformed by philanthropists and non-governmental Organisation NGO.

The King charged the newly installed Chiefs to be 100% loyal to the traditional rulers, Cabinet Chiefs and the Community as a whole.


Orile-Itesi is about seven kilometers away from Osiele Abeokuta town and also shares boundaries with Olugbon and Ogunmakin axis.

According to Chief Olawale Olaleye, Bobawoga of Orile-Itesi promised to give adequate support to His Royal Majesty Oba Adeniyi Oluwagbemiga Oluyinka Emulu (Oroki 1) Olu of Orile-Itesi land and the entire community.

Bobawoga said, " alot move is on going locally and Internationally about my domains." He added further that " very soon, Orile-Itesi will soon get electricity through an international foundation."

Also, Chief (Mrs) Onibudo Omololu Sikirat, the Otun-Iyalode of Orile-Itesi promised to motivate all women in the land by giving women the necessary support that they need.

She said, "as a women, we should not disenfranchised ourselves in politics as better days await us."

She added that, very soon, they will begin to witness physical and women empowerment in the land While charging women to respect their husbands.

Among those that grace the occasion are Oba Olojoru of Itori-Oke, Olu of Osun, Olu of Tigbo, Oba Onikotun of Ikotun, Ota - Awori, Agbaakin Taofeeq Olabode, Tunde Sodeke, 

The new cabinet Chiefs are Chiefs Baba-Oba, Chief Olawale Olaleye as Bobawoga and Chief (Mrs) Omowumni Olaleye as Erelu Bobawoga of Orile-Itesi, Chief (Mrs) Onibudo Omololu Sikirat as Otun-Iyalode, Chief Lukmon Akinyemi as Aare-Onakakafo of Orile-Itesi and Chief (Mrs) Akimot Oyefunke Akinyemi as Erelu Aare-Onakakafo of Orile-Itesi respectively.
