Deputy Chief Whip Hon Isiaka Declares for Re-Election, Appreciates Overwhelming Support

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in  Wasimi Ward, the hometown of Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, came alive with energy, solidarity, and political excitement as thousands of supporters gathered to witness his official declaration for re-election into the House of Representatives.

The event, which attracted party leaders, elders, stakeholders, women groups, youths, and loyal supporters in Wasimi ward Ewekoro local government, turned into a powerful show of unity and endorsement for the lawmaker’s continuity agenda.

From the early hours of the day, Wasimi was filled with chants, cheers, and a strong sense of purpose as supporters trooped out in large numbers, signaling their readiness to stand firmly behind Rep. ISIAKA.

Speaking at the event, party leaders—including the APC Party Secretary Ewekoro, Hon. Akinwunmi described Rt. Hon. Today, I am truly overwhelmed, he said. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every household, our elders, women, youths, party stakeholders, and supporters who came out to stand with me. This show of love means everything to me.

He went further to appreciate both Muslim and Christian , Traditional faithful for their prayers and unwavering support, noting that the unity displayed at the event reflects the true strength of the constituency.

In a special recognition, he commended the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina, describing him as a pillar of support and a committed leader working tirelessly for the progress of the local government.

Rt. Hon. Isiaka emphasized that his re-election bid is not a personal ambition but a collective mission to sustain and expand the developmental strides already achieved.

He assured constituents that more impactful projects, empowerment initiatives, and inclusive representation would define the next phase of his leadership.

“This journey is about all of us. With your continued support, we will achieve even greater progress. I remain fully committed to serving you better,” he added.
