The Recreation Club Ilaro under the leadership of Recreator Otunba Idowu Onifade has extended a philanthropic gesture to some students of public in Ilaro.
The club paid off the 2026 WAEC fees of some selected students across the 6 secondary schools in Ilaro.
The selected students were drawn from
1. Oronna High School Ilaro,
2. Itolu Community High School,
3. Baptist High School, Ilaro,
4. Anglican Grammar School,
5. Emmanuel High School, Ilaro
6. Yewa College Ilaro
The programme is aimed at rewarding diligence and also sowing a seed of sacrificial services in our young ones.
Speaking with The chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibilities Committee of the club, Chief Yinusa Babatunde said the gesture was done with the mind of emulating an illustrious member of the Club Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola who has been a great benefactor to the people of Ogun state in no small measure.
The Recreation Club Ilaro aims at making an impact by contributing their quota in the drive towards students education. Rewarding hard work and encouraging community service in young people is a great way to build a stronger community.
Presentation of cheques was done to the beneficiaries at the Club Monthly Meeting held today 13th March, 2026 at the new club house- Abdulgaffar Adeola Ogunleye House located in the Recreation club premises.
