The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adisa Adesina, has presented a proposed ₦11.46 billion 2026 Budget, tagged “Budget of Renewed Hope,” to the Legislative Council, outlining key priorities aimed at driving grassroots development and improving the living standards of residents across the local government area.
Presenting the budget on Monday, March 2, 2026, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa described the proposal as realistic, people-oriented, and growth-focused, emphasizing that it reflects the administration’s commitment to prudent financial management, transparency, and value for money.
He noted that the budget will prioritize infrastructure development, education, healthcare services, rural road rehabilitation, and social welfare programmes.
Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa also highlighted several completed and ongoing projects across Ewekoro communities, while expressing appreciation to the Ogun State Governor, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, the Legislative Council, stakeholders, and residents for their continued support, which he described as instrumental to the achievements recorded by the administration.
He further disclosed that the projected revenue will be sourced from statutory allocations, state allocations, internally generated revenue, and grants, adding that the administration remains committed to blocking revenue leakages and strengthening financial discipline to ensure effective service delivery.
Hon. Adesina reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to sustain inclusive development across the ten wards of the local government through strategic investments in public infrastructure, market facilities, power supply, educational support, and healthcare improvements, noting that the ultimate goal is to enhance socio-economic growth and promote better living conditions for all residents of Ewekoro Local Government.
