2026 International Women's Day: Women Should Be More Supportive In Community Development - Oba Jolaosho

By Our Correspondent

His Royal Majesty Oba Suffianu Adisa Jolaosho, Olu Of Wasinmi Land has  advised Nigeria women to be more supportive in community development and other community engagement in our respective domain.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Olawale Olayinka Senior Special Adviser on media to Olu of Wasinmi Land.

The monarch joined the world women through his wife Olori Eniola Jolaosho to commemorate 2026 International World Day (IWD).

He explained that today, International Women’s Day, I salute the hard work and dedication of Nigeria women, Ogun State and Ewekoro local government working tirelessly and achieving results in different fields of endeavour.

We celebrate you all, from those sacrificing daily in the homes and markets and farms, to those breaking limits in education, sports, medicine, arts, entertainment, and even in politics, where women are still largely under-represented, I appreciate you all.

Happy International Women’s Day 2026, Keep shining our wives!.
