*Obafemi Owode LG: Amb. Ogunsola Marks One Year in Office, Heads to U.S. for Strategic Investment Drive*
In affirmation of a fulfilled electioneering promises made to the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government in the last one year in office, the Executive Chairman, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has rolled out a detailed stewardship of his administration in the council area.
The council boss in a media chat expressed satisfaction in the delivery of equitable dividends of democracy across sectors, wards, villages and towns of Obafemi Owode Local Government.
He explained that within the one year of his administration, he has been able to improve infrastructural development, particularly on education, as he constructed two blocks of 10 Classrooms with Office and Toilets facilities in Maba Town, which has remained first of its kind among sisters local government in the state.
As a responsive government who has remained steadfast in complementing the efforts of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON equally constructed an asphalt Ogidan Road phase1 in Owode-Egba, Rehabilitation of Health Centre at Moloko Asipa, Provision of Motorized Borehole at Aderupatan Village, Rehabilitation of Legislative Chamber Owode, Printing of Free Exercise books for public primary schools, Grading of over 120 Kilometers Roads within 12 wards, other grading of roads will continue after the rain, among other projects.
Meanwhile, Amb. Adesina 'Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA has set to embark on international trip to Delaware, United States of America on an official invitation by the Honourable Robin R. Christiansen, Mayor of Dover in order to facilitate investors to Ogun state, Obafemi Owode Local Government in particular.
As it contained in the invitation letter, the official visit is aimed at strengthen the tides between the two communities, with the theme: Bridging Communities through Friendship, Leadership and Cultural Exchange.
The program which will hold at the Dover City Hall, Delaware, U.S.A on Monday 24th November,2025.
The visit is to showcase the potentials and to promote our locally made fabrics, Adire , Cultural heritage and Agricultural potentials, as Amb. Ogunsola will be decorated with the Prestigious Leadership and Friendship Award by the Hon. Mayor Robin Christiansen in a full attire made up of Adire Fabrics.
In furtherance to the commitments of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON in promoting Adire and other locally made products, the council boss is set to have Cultural Exchange and Gift Presentation, where other Art Sculpture Presentation will be done as a way of showcasing Obafemi Owode Local Government to the world against the misconception of the potentiality in harnessing the benefits of memorandum of understanding between Nigeria as a sovereign nation and United States of America.

The chairman further used this occasion to re-assure the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government that some areas should be expecting projects soon such as Roads Construction of Kobape Township Road,Adigbe Idi Mongoro Road,Cele Road in Owode Egba,Mowe Market Road leading Express Way and many others while solicit for more cooperation and support, most especially in the area of prompt payment of all levies to the coffers of the local government.
