The African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, are set to return to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, for the second leg of their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying fixture against the Women’s National Team of Benin Republic.
The decisive encounter will take place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta, with kick-off scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Super Falcons go into the home leg with a 2-0 advantage, following their victory over Benin Republic on Friday, October 24, in Lomé, Togo.
The team is expected to consolidate on their strong first-leg performance and secure a place in the next stage of the continental qualifiers.
In a statement, the Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, called on football enthusiasts in Abeokuta and across the state to troop out in large numbers to support the team.
