Alleged ₦80.2 Billion Fraud Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has advised former governor of Kogi state to used ultramodern hospital instead of traveling abroad.
EFCC’s lead prosecutor Kemi Pinheiro, stated this in his response to former governor in Abuja. While begging the agency to allow him travel abroad for medical attention.
Kemi Pinheiro, said having low potassium to bananas and pawpaw doesn't worth it going abroad.
He explained that from Abuja to Kogi is less than two hours and why do you want to embark on a journey of six to seven hour to overseas.

“He says he has low potassium; bananas and pawpaw will handle that. This is not sufficient reason to fly to the UK,” EFCC’s lead prosecutor, Kemi Pinheiro, said.
"He pointed out that Bello boasted about building a world-class hospital in Kogi during his time in office. “From Abuja to Lokoja is two hours. I advise him to visit that hospital rather than take a six-hour flight abroad.”
