The wave of support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji continues to gather unstoppable momentum.
Yesterday in Oye Local Government, a chieftain of the SDP Barr. Yemi Ayodele Ayeni defected into the All Progressives Congress, pledging full support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the 2026 elections. The defection wasn’t just symbolic but also loaded with stories of conviction and genuine admiration for a Governor who has kept his promises and stayed close to the people.
Same day, the state leadership of the APC, led by the Chairman, Chief Sola Elesin, concluded a special tour of party leaders across the 16 local government areas in the state with Ado Local Government . The tour afforded the party to consolidate unity, strengthen party structure, and echo the growing confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s leadership.
Rounding off the day with a visit to Olorunsogo community,Ori Apata , Opposite School of Nursing ,Adebayo, Ado-Ekiti. We visited the “Good Women for BAO “ meeting.
Also ,we met the community landlords to address their issues and lastly we were joined by the Ori - Apata Youth to launch Ori - Apata for BAO .
The Director-General of the Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, reaffirmed the Governor Oyebanji administration’s continued commitment to grassroots engagement and development.
From this series of events, yesterday was a portrait of a Governor whose leadership isn’t being defended with words, but confirmed through action.
The signs are clear.
The people are speaking.
And the tide is swelling.
