Winners Emerge in Lagos APC Chairmanship Primary Ahead of LG Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its chairmanship primaries across Lagos State, with winners emerging in the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs). The exercise was conducted ahead of the highly anticipated local government elections in the state.

According to official results obtained by Lagos Reporters, the party has so far confirmed candidates in the following councils:

Ejigbo: Taoheed Taiwo

Lagos Island-East: Muibi Alade

Amuwo Odofin: Sanusi Ismail

Ojo: Rufai Muibat

Lagos Island: Taiwo Oyekan

Ikorodu-North: Wale Ameen

Eti-Osa East: Samsideen Agunbiade

Badagry: Hunkpe Babatunde

Epe: Sura Olayemi Animashaun

Ifako-Ijaiye: Usman Hamzat

Igbogbo-Baiyeku: Olalekan Aroyewu

Ojokoro: Rossini Oluyemisi

Kosofe: Moyosore Ogunlewe

Ajeromi-Ifelodun: Akindipe Olamilekan

Ifelodun: Okeowo Oluremi

Isolo: Olasoju Adebayo Babatunde

Ibeju-Lekki: Sesan Olowa

Ikosi-Ejirin: Anomo Adewale

Badagry-West: Ibrahim Rauf

The APC leadership expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the primaries and has urged all party members to remain committed and united as the campaign for the main elections begins.
