His Royal Majesty Oba Adebowale Ajibade Alaketu Of Ketu in Republic of Benne has cleared air over the controversy over who is authentic traditional ruler in ancient Yoruba land located outside Nigeria boarder.

Oba Ajibade stated this while fielding question from journalist during the 26th Anniversary of YCW and 7th annual world Omoluabi festival award, tagged Isokan Omoluabi 202. Yoruba Council Worldwide (YCW).

The monarch explained that the attacked by Olola of Ilara in Imeko-Afon government make him to open up who the authentic Alaketu Of Ketu is. " I remain the authentic and recognize Alaketu Of Ketu land in Republic of Benne despite the communal clash that make him to live land.

" I remain the Alaketu Of Ketu land because my seclusion is completed, I did the first face at Ile-Ketu and the last face at Ile-Ife and that's what the traditional required. But before coming back from Ile-Ife to Ketu land some enemy of progress has crown another person without seclusion.

"And after his reign for sometime,  some disgruntled element and hoodlums attack his palace and he run for his life. Claiming that all the traditional crown, Sesefun and rest were in custody.

Oba Ajibade Adebowale stated further that in other not to bring disgrace to the traditional institution and his town he would have done something else but as Yoruba adage said (Onilu onife kotu) the owner of land will not want his community to be in disarray.

Although Oba Ogunwusi Adeyeye (Ojaja 1) Ooni of Ife and Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Alake and paramount ruler of Egba Land has been working on the matter. But I still remain the original and authentic Alaketu Of Ketu land because my traditional rite was perform in three different Yoruba ancient town's.

"Those that excort Oba Adebowale Ajibade to Ile-Ife from Ketu are; Adekanbi, Malomo, Oloko, Kunle, Oke Adeesan , Ose Adeyemi, Adewale Adejobi, Segun Adeyanju, Pst Ajibade, Prince Adegbola and others. Also at Ile-Ife are; Saarun Oodua, Prof Shonbola, Chief Abimbola Soko Ife. At Oyo Ile are; Mayegun Oyo, Prince Niyin Adeyemi Omo Alafni Oyo, Sule Adeyemi.

After that he was directed by Ooni ife instructed him to go to Oyo for Alafin and another traditional rite was held in Oyo and he was bless by late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi Alafin of Oyo.
