In a joyous thanksgiving service held at St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, outlined the administration's commitment to increased engagement with the media during Governor Dapo Abiodun's second term.

Akinmade highlighted the pivotal role of the media, noting that it played a crucial part in communicating the government's achievements across various sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, human resources, and revenue generation.

"Media, if you'll recall since the second term has occupied a pride of place in his government, and we'll continue to do that," he asserted.

The thanksgiving service also marked the culmination of a legal journey for Governor Abiodun, whose victory was recently affirmed by the Supreme Court.

The special adviser expressed gratitude for the favorable verdict, emphasizing that the administration's dedication to serve the people of Ogun State would persist.

"Today is a special day in the history of Ogun State. It's a day that we gathered to celebrate God's goodness in the life of the administration of our governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun."

Akinmade acknowledged the resilience shown throughout the legal processes, from the tribunal to the appeal and ultimately the Supreme Court.

"When you look at today's sermon, is to give glory to God and to admonish the governor not to forget the promises to the good people of Ogun State and the governor as re-emphasize this over and over again that he will continually serve the good people of Ogun State .

"I can assure you that with the help of God the Governor will finish well.

"What the governor is concerned now is delivering the good dividend of democracy to the good people of Ogun State ."
