Ogun West Traditional Rulers Oba Akintunde Akinyemi has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he will not regret appointing Dr Isiaq Kunle Salako as a minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
His Royal Majesty Oba Ebenezer Akintunde Akinyemi JP, FCIMN (Akaosu 1), The Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government, Ogun State, Nigeria stated this in his congratulatory letter to President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Eselu said, Dr. Salako who performs his former duties like a civilian soldier will perform wonders as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not regret appointing him. In fact, Mr. President will thank the person (s) who recommended Dr. Isaiah Kunle Salako to him.
The monarch explained that, he received the news of your appointment by our amiable President with pomp and pageantry because of your fantastic track record of performance when you superintended over some Ministries in Ogun State some years ago. I still believe in your capacity to deliver creditably at the national state.
Let me use the opportunity of this medium to thank Mr. President for appointing Dr. Isiaq Kunle SALAKO, a fantastic personality. I knew Dr. Salako since 2005. Dr. Salako and I are closest associates and I have absolute trust in him.
Dr. Kunle Salako was first appointed as a Commissioner for the Ministry of Health in Ogun State by a former Governor and now a legislature, i.e.
Senator Otunba Gbega-Daniel. Dr. Isiak Kunle SALAKO transformed the health sector of Ogun State when he was in charge of the health sector in those days.
It is also pertinent to place on record that Dr. Kunle SALAKO is an energetic and brilliant person who does not leave the jobs for his subordinates alone to execute. He goes personally to locations of assignments to get things done.
"Due to Dr. Salako's vast managerial and administrative skills, the then Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel redeployed him from the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Agriculture where he also performed wonders. After some months, the former Governor also posted him to the Ministry of Works and Housing where Dr. Salako also displayed an indelible wizardry. I will not forget Dr. Salako and a Permanent Secretary in the Works and Housing Ministry, Mr. Ayon Von of blessed memory. Both men did wonders. He initiated and brought to fruition the Gateway Media Village. The Hilltop was also opened. Landerin Workers' Estate and many other indelible projects were initiated and implemented by this fine gentleman".
"I am absolutely convinced that Dr. Salako who performs his duties like a civilian soldier will perform wonders as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not regret appointing him. In fact, Mr. President will thank the person (s) who recommended Dr. Isaiah Kunle Salako to him".
Put Dr. Kunle Salako in any Ministry, he will transform it beyond one's imagination. He is like a lion. He can survive any jungles. If Mr. President puts him in very sensitive sectors like Health, Agriculture, Oil and Gas, etc, he will surpass Mr. President's expectations. We look forward to a very good portfolio for Dr. Kunle Salako.
Once again, I want to thank Mr. President for accepting the nomination of Dr. Isiak Kunle SALAKO, a patriot who is from Ogun West Senatorial District. Without mincing words, he will showcase his gigantic administrative acumen. Mr. President, you can always count on our unalloyed support to you. I pray that your tenure will be a huge success for our dear country, Nigeria.
I will not end this Congratulatory Message without thanking His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, OFR, the Executive Governor of Ogun State for his support.
Finally, I will like to thank our son in Yewa Land, Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) who has also been representing Ogun West creditably well.
Thank you all for making Dr. Kunle Salako a Minister-Designate who will soon become a substantive Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
