I am committed to being a voice for the grassroots - Ogun Assembly Member Assures Constituency

 Hon. Folawewo Fatiu Salami has assured the good people of Ifo II state constituency that is committed to being a voice for the grassroots and actively engage in lobbying and facilitating community-driven projects that has directly benefit on the common man.

Members representing Ifo II state constituency in Ogun State of Assembly gave the assurance during commissioning and launching of Araromi Community, Adugan Alausa, ward 7 bridge on Saturday, 22nd of July, 2023.

Hon. Salami explained that, its is with great pleasure and honor that I stand before you today as a Special Guest of Honour for the commissioning and launching of the Araromi Community Bridge, which marks an important milestone in our collective journey towards progress and development of Ifo II State Constituency.

He said, on behalf of All Progressive Congress APC candidates in the last election,  I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for the massive support and overwhelming vote delivered by you all for myself and other candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the last election earlier in the year. Today, as we celebrate the completion of this bridge, we also celebrate the spirit of unity that propelled its construction. 

The Adiyan- Alausa Community Development Committee has showcased to the world that diversity can be our strength when we harness our differences and pool our resources together as a community with mutual understanding. 

This project stands as a symbol of our collective resolve to build a better future for ourselves and our children. I want to commend the Adiyan Alausa Community Development Committee for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in bringing this project to fruition. Your commitment to self-help and community-driven initiatives is truly inspiring. 

It is through initiatives like these that we can complement the efforts of both Local and State Government in fostering development and progress in our beloved constituency. 


 Salami said, "On my part as your elected representative in the Ogun State House of Assembly, I want to assure you that I am committed to being a voice for the grassroots. I will actively engage in lobbying and facilitating community-driven projects that directly benefit the common man". 

He said, the development of our constituency will remain my top priority. I also want to emphasize the importance of active engagement with the Community Development Associations (CDAs) at all levels. They serve as crucial intermediaries between the community and the government. By working closely with them, I can ensure that your concerns and aspirations will be effectively communicated and addressed. 

Furthermore, I want to assure you that the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration is working tirelessly to ensure the timely completion of existing projects in the Ifo II Constituency.

 The State Government is committed to delivering on our electoral promises and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every corners of our constituency. 

Dear Community leaders, I urge you to place a renewed focus on enhanced collaboration with security agencies. A peaceful atmosphere is essential for development to thrive. Let us all contribute our quota by actively engaging in intelligence gathering and supporting the efforts of our security agencies. Together, we can create a safe and secure environment where our community can continue to flourish. 

 Let us continue to work hand in hand, united in our purpose, as we strive to build a prosperous future for Adiyan Alausa Community Development Committee, Akute land, our Ifo II State Contituency and the State at large. 


While commending members of the  Planning Committee led by Alhaji Adebeshin, The Area Chairman, Mr. Baleng, The Chairman, Sheik Adam Jubril Adigun, Olu of Olowo Land, Oba (Engr) E. O Soetan for job well done.
