The Ogun State Chairman, Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has advised the motorcycle riders to take extra caution this raining season.
Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle AMORAN State chairman stated this in press statement signed today in Abeokuta.
Alowonle, explained that, it's rainy season and it's very impressive for us as a union leader to remind you to take extra precautions while riding your motorcycles.
He said the road can become slippery and visibility can be reduced, making it more dangerous to ride.
While appealing to them to ensure that they have proper rain gear, including a raincoat and boots, to keep themself dry and comfortable. It is also important to check your motorcycle's brakes, tyres and lights before heading out in the rain.
Remember to slow down and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road. Avoid sudden movements and be extra vigilant for pedestrians and other road users.
We urge you to prioritize your safety and that of your passengers during this rainy season.
