The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, has sent his condolence message to the family and friends of late Chief Fohunola Abiola, who died on Thursday at the age of 79.
In his statement, the Chairman said: "On behalf of myself, the Executives, Legislative, Management, Political Leaders and the entire good people of Ewekoro Local Government, I express my heartfelt condolences to the entire family of our hero. Chief Fohunola Abiola, All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman, who passed away on Thursday, 29 June, 2023.
"Chief Fohunola Abiola, was a great man worthy of emulation.
"I sympathize with the good people of Abalabi ward, Ewekoro Local Government and Ogun State at large on the demise of a father, grandfather, and leader par excellence.
"Your legacy will continue to live forever with us. May the Almighty Allah give the family, friends and the people of Ogun State the fortitude to bear the loss and may the soul of late Chief Fohunola rest in peace. We love you but Allah loves you most.
"Adieu, Baba Fohun.
