The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council Announces the passing away of Former Vice-Chairman of the Union Comrade Segun Ayorinde.
Comrade Ayorinde died after a brief illness and his body has been deposited at the Morgue.
Comrade Segun Ayorinde retired as Deputy Director from the Ministry of Information and Strategy and died at the age of 63.
Comrade Segun Ayorinde Served as the Vice Chairman of the Union under the Dimeji Awoyemi led Executives,he contributed in no small way to the development of the Union and he is leaving when the Union is getting back to its feet and will need his expertise to help focus.
His passage is a great loss not only to the profession but to the States Civil Service where he retired from few years ago.
We pray God give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and also the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
Burial Arrangements ; Christian Wake - Thursday 11th May, 2023 at his Residence, Obada Oko by 5pm
Funeral - Friday 12th May, 2023 at his residence, Obada Oko. And interment of the Deceased at the Anglican Burial Ground, behind Anglican High School, off Quarry road, Ibara Abeokuta.
