NNPP appoints Prince Adekunle Ibrahim as Ogun Chairman Caretaker Committee

The National Working Committee of the New Nigeria People’s Party have appointed Prince Adekunle Ibrahim as the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the party in Ogun state, after the expulsion of former chairman Comrade Sunday Oginni.

In a letter signed by the party National secretary, Dipo Olayoku and Acting National Chairman, Abba Kawu Ali, which was presented and read by Abeokuta South party leader, Hon Kilamuwaye Badmos before party loyalists and ward leaders, appointing Prince Ibrahim as the party chairman caretaker committee dated back to 28th of April , specifying that his committee should put the party in the right footing for the period of three months , subject to renewal by the approval of the NWC.

In his acceptance speech, Prince Ibrahim appreciated the leadership of the party, members for their trust and support to reorganize the party despite all challenges.

He promised to reposition the party by setting up an administrative structure across the local government and wards in Ogun state, for the party to reclaim her lost glory.

Prince Ibrahim advised that the Inter Party and Advisory Council (IPAC) and the concerned public should desist from dealing with the expelled former chairman, Comrade Oginni and his co travelers, for the interest of peace and development in the state.

He called on all aggrieved party members to return to the party and rebuild it for the betterment of the state.
