The Executive Chairman Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has assented to the year 2023 budget, tagged "Budget of Consolidation towards securing our future together".
Amb. Ogunsola stated that the dwellers in the LG and beyond would recall that the Budget proposal was presented to the Legislative Arm of the Council on Monday 27 March 2023 for an approval from the Lawmakers of the Council which was in earnest and unanimously approved by the them, while commending them for the efforts making to speed up the Bill into Law.
He further thanked the legislative arm of the Local Government for keeping to their promises of timelines and their cooperation at all times.
The Council Chairman assured the people of more delivery of dividends of democracy, as he affirmed that more communities would fill the good impact of his administration during this year.
At the event were: the Vice chairman Hon. Babatunde Olusesi, Chief Kayode Dipeolu,Secretary to the Local Government,, Mr Fatai Ogundele, Head of local Government Administration, Members of the Legislative council, Supervisor for Information Mrs Foluke Oluwadare, Supervisor for Community Development Hon. Risikat Akintayo, Special Adviser on Legislative and Political Matters Hon. Lekan Shittu, various departmental heads of the Local Government and many Others.
