Nigeria - Senator Solomon Adeola, the Ogun West APC senatorial candidate, in what appears as a winning trend is defeating his opponents Mr. Ganiyu Obanibasiri, the PDP candidate by substantial margins.
For instance in PDP Senatorial Candidate’s polling unit of Ota 2, of Ado-Odo-Ota LG, Senator Adeola scored a total number of 75 votes against Chief Obanibasiri’s 60 votes.
As officially collated by , some of the results are as follows, in Unit 033 Ota Ward 1, Yayi APC scored 109, PDP - 05, in Unit 044 Ota Ward 1, APC - 85, PDP - 49, Labour - 41; in Unit 042 APC - 51, PDP - 07, Labour - 26; Unit 021 AUD Pry School, Iju Ola APC 173, PDP 45, Labour 37; in Unit 016 APC 101, PDP 16, Labour 9, in Unit 045 Open Space at Kogi Junction, Itele, APC 60, PDP 2, Labour 24.
In Iju Ward unit 059, APC 75, PDP 6, Labour 22, in Unit 073 APC 86, PDP 17, Labour 14, Unit 027 APC 65, PDP 22, Labour 36.
In Yewa South Local Government, polling Unit 002 Ward 2 of Ilaro, Senator Adeola scored 103 votes to defeat his PDP rival, who polled 25 votes while Labour Party scored 4 votes.
In Oke-Odan ward, unit 15, Senator Yayi scored 174, while his close opponent, PDP candidate scored 51.
In Ipokia LG, Senator Yayi defeated PDP candidate. Below are some results from Idiroko ward as announced by INEC: Unit 028, APC 88, PDP 58, Unit 035 APC 72, PDP 29, Unit 030 APC 128, PDP 56, Unit 017 APC 88, PDP 30, Unit 004 APC 103, PDP 78, Unit 021 APC 57, PDP 15 and Unit 009 APC 105, PDP 53.
