The Ogun State Igbo Community are now fully ready for the official inauguration of Igbo in All Progressive Congress (APC) Ogun State Chapter.
Hon. Monday Chukwuji who was Special Adviser to Ogun State Governors on Ethnic Matters made this known during their meeting over the weekend at Winner Hotel Ifo, Ogun State.
The Special Adviser to Ogun State Governors on Ethnic Matters explained that the gathering is very important for all the Igbo Community in state to pledge total support for All Progressive Congress APC.
And promised that they are ready to support all All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President, Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term and three Senators, Nine members federal house of representatives and twenty six members of Ogun State House of Assembly candidates to be victorious at the forthcoming general election in the state.
According to high Chief (Pst) Ifeobu Augustine Eegue from Ado-Odo/Ota local government said Igbo Community as never had it so good since 1999 when democracy as come to stay in Nigeria. But governor Dapo Abiodun as put smile into there faces by giving us a conducive environment for business to strive.
In addition Mr Chukwuma Chukwu from Ewekoro Local Government urged all members to see this assignment as a personal work. Urged the Igbo leaders to give them free hand to work.
Also, High Chief Pas Richard Osuagwu from Abeokuta South Local Government said, Igbo Community is like a bridge all political party need before they can get to there promised land.
While appealing for free hands to operate and move people out in our respective domain. And also we must ensure that the interest of Igbo people in Ogun State is protected.
According to the Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government Chief Mrs Kikelomo Delano commend the Ogun State Igbo Community for ready to support Abiodun for second term and all other APC candidates in the 2023 Election.
She said, "I've no doubt in me, when I received a letter about this meeting that Ogun State Igbo Community in APC will be inaugurates by the governor. And I want to Promised you that, it's a testimony of hard working of our preforming governor
