Tge All Progressives Congress House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Engr Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan has enjoined Christians faithful to shun all forms of religious and tribal sentiments in the forthcoming 2023 General elections, he also urged the Christians to be more interested in the capacity and capabilities of the candidates rather than their religious affiliations stressing that Nigeria is a secular state.
Adegbesan made this known recently while checking on the christian faithfuls who worships at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mamu Ijebu in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to him, "I urged all Christian faithfuls to continue to pray for better Nigeria and peaceful conduct of the re-election of Prince Dapo Abiodun as Governor of Ogun State and the emergence of all other APC candidates across the state". He submitted.
In his usual character, he donated handsomely towards the reconstruction of the church building promising that when elected, he would facilitate some social amenities that could benefit the Church to the area.
While returning from the Church visit, Hon. Adegbesan's car was blocked by Mamu Community youths and women who were visibly elated and wildly enthusiastic about his candidacy.
The youths and the women trooped out to sing and embrace Hon. Adegbesan and his team, with wild jubilation they sang his praises, particularly for the palliative work he did at the main access road that leads to the community, they assured him that they will reciprocate the good gestures at the poll in 2023 .
