His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Abdul-Gafar Olasumkanmi Tijani Alawowo of Awowo Owu land has enjoined the faithful islamic religion leaders to imbibe total obedience and submission to the cause of Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
Oba AbdulGafar Olasunkanmi Tijani, Alawowo of Awowoland, Owu Kingdom made the plea in his sallah message in Abeokuta today..
The monarch says, the lessons of patience, humility and fulfilment of promise made to Allah, taught by lives of the Prophet and his house hold should not be lost on every Muslim, especially in Nigeria where citizens are required to imbibe good virtues to engender a new Nation.
He describes as unfortunate the situation where Nigeria hasn't record a commensurate growth and development in the social economic lives of her citizens despite the huge resources expended on the elected political chiefs since 1999.
The Royal father congratulates Nigerians, especially Muslims and urges them to use the occasion of the ileya festival to pray for the Country.
