Hon. (Engr.) Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan and his beautiful wife Yeye Akorede Adegbesan have congratulated the Limeri of Awa Ijebu, His Royal Highness, Oba Abib A. Awobajo (JP) Lagbelu II, as the monarch marks Sixteen years on the throne of his forebears.
Hon. Adegbesan, who is also the Otunba Fuwagboye and his wife the Yeye Otunba Fuwagboye of Awa Ijebu, he was a former two term lawmaker in Ogun State House of Assembly and the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives Candidate in the forthcoming 2023 General election congratulated the monarch and described his reign as a positive one that has brought rapid development to the town.
According to the statement.“I heartily rejoice with our amiable Kabiyesi, HRH Ọba Abib A. Awobajo, Limeri of Awa Ijebu, Lagbelu II and the entire people of Awa ijebu as they celebrate the sixteen year anniversary of Kabiyesi on the highly revered royal throne."
" Kabiyesi, your reign has brought many developmental strides, enormous blessings to all our people and a new sense of direction that is propelling Awa Ijebu to greater heights."
"Alayeluwa, as the entire people of Awa Ijebu celebrate your divine reign with the rest of the world, I wish you excellent health in your commitment to a peaceful and more prosperous Awa Ijebu."
“Long may you reign Lagbelu II. K'ade pẹ lori, kà bata pẹ lẹsẹ, A s'eyi samodun o” Hon. Adegbesan said.
The House of Representatives hopeful thereafter urged all sons and daughters of Awa-Ijebu to continually support the Kabiyesi in this quest to take the town to an enviable heights maintaining that the tasks of developing a town requires a collective responsibilities.
