    Super Falcons: Isiaka stripped captaincy

    Asisat Oshola has been stripped of captaincy of the Nigeria women's national team the Super Falcons after 30 months in charge since September 17, 2019, Sport News Africa reports exclusively.

     Sport News Africa reports that the stripping Oshola of captaincy is a result of directive from the NFF to the Randy Waldrum's led technical crew.

     In fact, a high-ranking official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity said; "This is not for anything negative but for troubling concerns of seeing her struggle in national team colours. 

    We and the coach 'Waldrum' observed the captaincy is weighing her down and affecting her play."
