Ohanaeze Chieftain Fault Abiodun SA over Non-completion Of Igbo Community Secretariat

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chieftain, Chief Richard Osuagwu has expressed displeasure over the neglect, poor state and non completion of Igbo community Secretariat located at Abeokuta. 
Chief Osuagwu accused Hon. Monday Chukwuji,Special Assistance to the Governor Dapo Abiodun on ethnic matters of not doing enough to ensure speedy completion of Igbo community secretariat. 

Chief Richard Osuagwu who was former Secretary general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Ogun State chapter made this known while fielding questions from our Correspondent in Abeokuta.

Osuagwu explained that, Governor Dapo Abiodun has done very well in all ramifications and he deserved to be trusted  with another four years in office. In other for him to complete all the giant developmental projects   he started in the state, including Igbo Secretariat.

He said, the demand for completion of Igbo secretariat by this administration it's a step in the right direction, and long over due."We cannot continue to conduct our meetings and events in an unbefitting and undeveloped atmosphere. There is no pride in it. The Secretariat is underdeveloped and nothing has been done on it in the last three years". 

He added that, the land was allocated to the Igbo Community by the administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD)  through high Chief Austin Owanaku, the then Special Assistant (S A).  Senator Ibikunle Amosun also made contributions through Chief Matthew Nwankwo, the then Special Assistance S A, used for the foundation.

He added that Igbo Community are waiting on His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun mfr with the assurance that His Excellency will complete the Secretariat as promised during his campaign tour. 

If Igbo Community Secretariat is not completed during the tenure of Hon. Monday Chukwuji as a special Assistant to Ogun State Governor on ethnic matters, Igbo Community in Ogun State will never appreciate him. Osuagwu said

He advised Chief Monday Chukwuji to find means of meeting and appealing to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun to assist Igbo community complete their secretariat. 

He said, Igbo Community voted massively and we are assuring his Excellency that his second term agenda is a done deal. 

While, commending the effort of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun at ensuring adequate security of lives and property and providing conducive atmosphere for business to thrive in the state, he added that, Abiodun has been doing wonderfully well in area of Inter Ethnic Matters and peaceful co-existence in Ogun State.

He, on behalf of entire Igbo Community in Ogun State appreciated His Excellency Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun for appointing Hon. Monday Chukwuji as a substantive Special Assistant on Ethnic Matters (Igbo)
