OGUN FIRST LADY REACHES OUT TO PUPILS IN EWEKORO L/G ...Applauded for her efforts in women empowerment /emancipation and children's programmes

The First Lady and Wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun has been applauded for her tireless and massive efforts in women empowerment /emancipation and children's programmes in the state and at the Local Government level. 

   The applause was given by the speakers at the Flag-off ceremony of the distribution of Ajose Foundation bags with cookies to the pupils of Ewekoro Local Government at the exotic conference room in the council's secretariat, Itori. 

 Speaking in his opening remarks, the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, a. k. a. (ESKAY) described the kind gesture of the First Lady as the Christmas and New year's gift for the children. He, therefore, commended Mrs Abiodun for the motherly role she has been playing both at the state and local government levels. 

   The council's helmsman disclosed that more pupils would still benefit from the Ajose Foundation's largesse powered by the Ogun first lady in the next phase.
 Hon Adesina used the occasion to also appreciate the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for the massive turnaround of the Gate way state. 

   While delivering her speech at the event, the Chairperson,Ewekoro Local Government, Mrs Adebimpe Adesina eulogised Mrs Bamidele Abiodun for the hands of love extended to the pupils in the council area with the gifts of lofty bags and cookies. 

   Speaking further, Mrs Adesina did not fail to mention efforts of the first lady in women empowerment /emancipation, fight against gender based violence which had in no small measure brought succour and great relief to many women in Ogun State. 

   Mrs Adesina, however advised the pupils to devote more time to their studies in order to make themselves future leaders and be good ambassadors of the Local Government. 

 The highlight of the event was the distribution of Ajose Foundation bags filled with books and cookies to the delightful pupils while cash gift from the Executive Chairman was equally presented to the representatives of the various schools. 

    The event was witnessed by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, the Chairperson, Mrs Adebimpe Adesina, Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Adeyanju Akinyemi, Director of Education, Information and Sports, Mr Olopade Sakiru, Director of Community and Social  Development, Mrs Olakanmi F. B. and the Executive Secretary, Local Government Education Authority, Alhaja R. A. Akanni.
