Breaking: APC INLG Suspends former Ogun Deputy Speaker, Three others For Anti-Party

The leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) of Ward 09 (Ago-Iwoye II) in Ifelodun constituency, Ijebu North Local Government(INLG) has suspended Mrs Adetola Kadri popularly called (Iya Maba) mother of just suspended Ogun State Deputy Speaker and three other members for Anti-Party activities.

Mrs Adetola Kadiri and others there members was suspended on Tuesday by the leadership of Ward 09 in Ifelodun constituency, Ijebu North Local Government(INLG) Area of the state and the suspension was affirmed by the Ward Congress.

The suspended members are Iya Maba are Hon. Sola Jaiyeola, Hon. Rasaq Adesina(Councillor) and Mr. S.O. Bude for their various anti - party activities.

Their suspension followed the recommendation of the disciplinary and fact finding committee set up by the Ward to investigate petition brought against them over alleged anti - party activities.

The Ward Executives said they anchored their decision based on article 21(B)(1) of the party constitution and set up the Disciplinary and Fact Finding Committee on December 17th 2021. 

This was contained in a press release signed by Ward 09 Publicity Secretary, Bamidele Ogunfodurin. It was stated that the Committee invited, met and interrogated those alleged and established a prima facie case of plot to disorganise or factionalize the Ward against them and recommended all those culpable for reprimand. 

Ogunfodurin added that the Ward while exercising its authority; was convinced of the accused culpability and summarily suspended the quartet from the party while letter of suspension was also served each of them.

According to the Ward 09 INLG Publicity Secretary, the affected members were also admonished in their own interest to steer clear of every meeting of the Ward until the suspension is lifted.

They were also asked to surrender all party properties in their possession to the appropriate party organ.
