Two prominent indegene of Owode Yewa COMRADE OLAORE SAMSON (TEACHER) AND COMRADE AKINYEMI OMOSANJO(PHAMACY TECHNICIAN) are to slug it out at the pool for the office of the president of owode yewa youth forum that has been under transition arrangements for over a year now.
In a release signed by Prince Comrade Kuye Moronfolu the Electoral Committee secretary on behalf Alhaji Moruf Ojogbon and the entire owode yewa youth ,he stated that 13 others would be participating in the Election where only the office of the president,chief whip and Public Relation officer is been contested for by two aspirants .
He explained that why Olaore Samson is a mathematics guru with the AHMADIYA SCIENCE COLLEGE ILARO the other Akinyemi Omosanjo is A PHAMACY technician cum chemist who found solace in boutique business in the town .
Kuye maintain that although the election would have come up on 12-12 but due to the loss of one member of the group Comrade Musa Ismail who died on friday the Election was postponed and a new date will be fixed after the electoral Committee meeting slated for this Thursday.
The electoral secretary Who urge all youth and base within the town to remain calm and focus said ,"we at the electoral Committee would ensure ballance level for all aspirants and ensure the Election is free and devoid of any hanky panky.
He however express his appreciation to the Olu of Owode Oba Dr Rev Mathew Akindele ,Owode council of chiefs ,The Department of community services,The National Youth council yewa south chapter ,the Nigeria police and the department of state security services officers within the town who had shown much cooperation towards success of the election which he assured will be held before the year runs out.
